Make a Difference
The Friends of Norwood House are all volunteers. Join us to help protect preserve this exceptional piece of architectural and cultural heritage.
We need financial support of course, and below is Gift Aid Form to help us make the most of your donations. We are of course looking for the support of large funding agencies and charitable trusts to support our work, but we need donations at all times of the year, to pay for printing and participation in awareness raising and fundraising events. If you feel you can make a financial contribution and would like to talk to the Trustees about how to go about making a difference email us and we will organise a time to meet and discuss your wishes. We also need you advice, guidance and skills, if you feel you can help, please get in touch.
Volunteers
It is foreseen that many volunteers will be required and Friends of Norwood House look forward to welcoming local people, whose many and varied skills will be much appreciated.
Areas of help required include
- fundraising
- housekeeping
- gardening
- office administration (including IT skills)
- manual skills, under supervision (joinery, interior decorating and working with metal)
It is expected that a Volunteer Co-ordinator would be appointed to liaise with the ERVAS and other bodies and the volunteers themselves.
This is a major project for the people of Beverley and will undoubtedly be very interesting and rewarding for all who are willing to become involved and give, as generously as possible, their time.
Please email norwoodhouse@norwoodhouse.org for further information.
